Engine repair service

The Full Scope of Engine Work

Engines are mechanical, and mechanical things wear out. Oil leaks develop at gaskets and seals. Timing belts and chains stretch or break. Ignition components degrade. Fuel systems get dirty. We handle all of it, from straightforward oil leak repairs and spark plug replacements to head gasket jobs, timing belt services, and complete engine rebuilds.

If your car is misfiring, burning oil, overheating, losing power, or making noises it shouldn't be making, we'll diagnose it properly and give you honest options. Sometimes it's a simple fix. Sometimes the engine needs serious work. Either way, you'll know exactly what you're dealing with before we start turning wrenches.

Parts, Turbo Work, and Engine Replacement

We maintain a large collection of both new and used parts, which means we can often source what's needed without long waits or dealer markup. For turbo-equipped vehicles, we handle everything from boost leak repairs and wastegate adjustments to full turbo rebuilds and replacements. When an engine is beyond repair, we do complete engine replacements, sourcing a good unit, prepping it, and installing it right.

We also handle exhaust repairs, emissions work, and fuel system service. If it's part of the engine or its supporting systems, it's something we work on every day here in Georgetown.

SAAB Expertise

Every SAAB Engine, Every Generation

We've worked on every engine SAAB ever put in a car. The B201 and B202 four-cylinders in the classic 900. The B204 and B205 in the NG900 and first-generation 9-3. The B235 in the 9-5. The later GM Ecotec-based engines in the 9-3 Sport Sedan and final 9-5. Each generation has its own characteristics, its own common failure points, and its own quirks. We know them all.

SAAB was a turbo pioneer. They were boosting production cars years before most manufacturers took it seriously. That means every SAAB turbo engine has its own personality, and proper turbo maintenance and repair requires understanding the specific setup. We do turbo rebuilds, replacement, intercooler work, and boost system diagnosis.

Our parts inventory includes a deep stock of SAAB-specific engine components, many of which are increasingly hard to find. Whether it's a head gasket set for a B234 or a direct ignition cassette for a T7 car, we usually have it on the shelf or know exactly where to get it.

For non-SAAB vehicles, availability of this service may vary depending on the vehicle and scope of work. Give us a call and we'll let you know if we can help.
